Thirteen Keystone Oaks High School students broke into the school early Monday morning during a clandestine operation that police believe was aimed at actually gluing the school shut.

Intending to be clever pranksters, the students

The goal of a similar commando raid (some 30 years ago) was to simply reverse the position of all the books on the shelves of the school's library. (No actual physical damage.) Of course it was helpful that a classmate was the son of the head custodian and had access to keys.

Sigh, more shenanigans from the kids in the well-to-do white suburbs of Pittsburgh. Mom and Dad are too busy making money to supervise their kids.

Fine the parents $500.00 each to start and give the little darlings 90 days community service picking up trash.

This kind of reminds me of a West Michigan high school years ago that experienced an overturned car in the school bus turn-around lane.

It caused severe traffic problems, making up to 15 busses back up simultaneously. Ha!

The administrators accused me and my friends but never were able to make the charges stick.

Of course, I have dedicated these years since of 'finding the real killer'... I mean, culprit.

Yeah, I suppose gluing quarters to the locks is a dead giveaway that money means nothing to these kids. Heck, a mere penny would work just as well and save them quite a bit of cash.

Not to be confused with the "shenanigans" of the kids in the not-quite-so-well-to-do non-white suburbs:

PITTSBURGH -- A 16-year-old was held for trial Monday on a charge of criminal homicide, in what he and his lawyer say was the accidental death of a 14-year-old friend. Brandon Hodge allegedly shot Talithia Johnson on May 24, during a small gathering at his home on Manton Way in the city's Allentown section. Johnson died a few hours later at Mercy Hospital. rest of story.

BWA-hahahahahahaha!!! hee hee hee.... This has to be one of the best things to come out of government school in a looooooong time.

Hey, look on the bright side, though: our schools must be doing an okay job in chemistry or reading, or they wouldn't have been able to mix the epoxy. Oh, wait... must have been those reprobates in shop class again.

And at least they're well-socialized. Not really civilized, but really well socialized. Look at their organization!

(Ahem... seriously now...) Speaking as a concerned mother, I really think we need to pay attention to the underlying message here. These children seem to be acting out against their fear of being "locked" into an institutional life, where they are neither free to think for themselves, nor act. Twelve to thirteen years of institutional life will cause this split in their personalities: they want to be percieved as adults, and able to make decisions, and yet they feel threatened and abused by the "locks" placed on their lives; peer dependent, they are unable to make an individual choice, and so band together from primitive tribal instinct (emphasized by 13 years of age-segregation), form an active heirarchy ("Seniors" taking a lead, with the subordinate members keeping watch), and take action to eliminate the main source of frustration to their personhood. It's a cry for help, really. They want their lives to be meaningful, and they're in a world of locked doors.

Really.

I'm sure that's what it is.

Now, I'm going to go back to giggling. They GLUED the LOCKS shut!!!

Bwa-hahahahahahaha!!!

Regards

Yeah! Eighteen kids including 5 lookouts equipped with walkie-talkies and cell-phones, and the little mush-heads still get caught.

Bwahahahahahaha!!!

This reminds me of a little known fact that a cow will go up a staircase but not down.

At least there is one cow who wouldn't.

Plausible deniability was so much simpler before every one started carrying those pesky vid-cams.

In 1962 we had a freak snowstorm in my town, where it never snows. A mob of students made a huge snow ball, rolled it thru the front doors, up the hallway and blocked the principal's door with it. It was huge; probably 6 feet + in diameter. Of course, the joke wasn't really effective since the principal just exited through the other door. Yeah, I'm from a very backward little town....no imagination. LOL!
