Think about it. Does that make sense?
Never mind. I already know the answers.
Egyptian intelligence warned American officials about a week before Sept. 11 that Osama bin Laden's network was in the advance stages of executing a significant operation against an American target, President Hosni Mubarak said in an interview on Sunday.
CYA attack piece. Is Carville working for Egypt nowadays?
Using a secret agent they had recruited who was in close contact with the bin Laden organization, Mr. Mubarak said, his intelligence chiefs tried unsuccessfully to halt the operation.
Uh. Sure.
Mr. Mubarak said his intelligence officials had no indication what the target would be and had no idea of the magnitude of the coming attack....Mr. Mubarak cited the warning as evidence that Egypt has become an increasingly valuable intelligence partner to the United States in the war against terrorism, especially since Sept. 11.
Probably the only truthful statement in the article.
"We informed them about everything," he said, referring to American intelligence officials. "Maybe some congressmen were thinking, `What is Egypt doing?' " for the United States, he said. "There are so many things we cannot say, mainly intelligence information. We did a lot, but sometimes you have to do it quietly." "I am afraid of what's happening in the Middle East for the future," he said. "the seriousness of the situation" may "generate new kinds of terrorism against all of us, against the U.S., against Egypt, against Jordan."
CYA. CYA. More CYA. Perhaps he sees the hammer coming down on their world very soon.
Sure Al-Queda is enemy number one. Tell me, where was Osama's cave prior to 9/11? And oh by the way where were all of the 20,000 or so members of Al-Queda located? You do have a computer listing of thier home addresses dont you? No, why not? Didnt your snoop at the Bilderberger convention give it to you?
Also name the specific individuals in either the CIA or FBI that had knowledege of all the individual facts you mentioned. These things may have been know by the CIA or the FBI but there is no proof that any one person knew all of this and did nothing. If Dave S has one piece and Howlin has another and DrLiberty has a third and the three of us dont communicate there is no way the dots are going to be connected.
I don't like to say that to someone who has served his country proudly in the military, but you had no right to question my motives, either.
The time is way too late for niceties. The gloves are off. The stakes are way too high. So if I offended you, I'm sorry, but I won't curb my words - not for anyone. PC has taken us way too far down that road.
Yep. That's the new game plan of the dims ones. They have little else to discuss.
Yes of course that's it Dave!
No government agent or analyst in any department is in anyway allowed to communicate with each other in any way. Isn't that correct?
Gee, what were Collen Rowley, Robert Wright and the Phoenix Agent thinking?
Don't forget the aliens. Makes us angry.
Agree completely. I think it's most unfortunate that a rational discussion about that fact seems to be nearly impossible. Notice how this entire thread has turned into another defense of Bush, and the article wasn't even about Bush. The left wants to blame Bush, the right wants to defend Bush, meanwhile nobody seems to give a damn about actually getting to the bottom of things. It's frustrating.
See post #188. Newsmax article.
Fair enough.
They QUESTION THEIR GOVERNMENT!
When there's a reason to, yes. But not automatically 100% of the time just to raise hell.
They DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING AN AMERICAN OFFICIAL SAYS!
No, but they sure believe what an American official says over what the leader of a terrorist-harboring Islamist authoritarian state says, unless there's overwhelming evidence presented with the claim. There is none presented in this case. There's also the niggling little fact to consider that in Mubarak's own words, his intelligence officials had no indication what the target would be and had no idea of the magnitude of the coming attack. So the information would have been largely useless in any case. "Oh, Osama's up to something again? Well, no sh*t, Sherlock."
they also AREN'T AFRAID TO ACCUSE LEADERS OF CRIMES, INCLUDING TREASON!
Again, only when there's reason to believe treason might have been committed. There is not the slightest reason to believe any treason has occurred with respect to this "information," whether Mubarak is lying or telling the truth. Accusing without evidence doesn't make you a "true citizen," it just makes you a kook.
I'm sure that Mormon missionaries, Boy Scouts, and the Little Sisters of the Poor have more credibility than Egyptian intelligence agencies. However, the latter is rather more likely to associate with al-Qaeda terrorists and discover their plans.
Psst....check out infowars.com, Alex Jones has overwhelming documentation and has a great film on the subject.
Name them. With proof. And don't come back with anything except what the Bush family has direct investments with the Saudis with. None of this "They use the same broker" crap. What investments do any of the Bush family have directly with the Saudis?
Right, Howlin. Same old BS and unsubstantiated charges, upon which the libs love to suckle.
Well, I put gas in my car today. Does that make ME a conspirator? Give me a /.
