If her right elbow was broken as mine was, I imagine she'll need to have her limb temporarily immobilized with a splint, followed by an operation to insert a srew to knit the bones together. Followed by physical therapy to get her to relearn to use her right arm. You have to relearn how to eat and get dressed again and believe me it ain't fun. Assuming her lawyer's telling the truth about her condition, that's easy enough to verify with the hospital she's at.

If this is true, then her broken elbow defense is dumb as dirt. I can't imagine a more stupid reason to "blow-off" a court appearance, and if I was this Macho Judge, it would insult my intelligence.
