He's still mad the Dems' not only didn't circle the wagons around him, but basically told him to get lost.

Condit's contributors are public information! What's the big deal here? What about the illegal contributors?
To: at bay
But did he also supply him with a list of his girlfriends, as well as commentary on when and who to contact?

We don't need guys like Condit on our side.
"Excuse me, Gary, I didn't ask you to be on our side. Yes, I know we're winning, but you have to stay over there with the losers."

This is a bit strange. Don't lists of donors and the amount they have donated have to be publicly reported? I suspect that Fox is trying to create some kind of story that isn't really there.

More importantly, the Republican benefactor should publically denounce Condit's offer. To do otherwise would be a poor political decision.

What about the illegal contributors? Every politician has some...who is on the list - Sadaam? Bin Laden?
I don't see the point in this unless it's to buy immunity from prosecution...

The terrible lack of gratitude, of Grey Davis and now this Cardozo (sp?) in turning aginst Condit, who was their mentor and got them their jobs...when he got into difficulty -- is not an attractive trait, no matter what Condit's sins and crimes may have been.
Both those two men ought to resign these positions, if they have broken with Condit they ought to give back the jobs he got for them.
And Condit ought to be a Republican anyway, for only his personal sex life was closer to a Democrat, in other ways he was closer to a Republican.

He used to be a B movie actor before he entered politics. If it hadn't been for his heartless behavior in the Levy case, he still would have been in Congress today. Apparently, Condit felt that he might as well go down with all guns blazing.

Friends all tried to warn me,
But I held my head up high
All the time they warned me
But I only passed them by
They all tried to tell me
But I guess I didn't care
I turned my back and
Left them standing there
All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore
Joey tried to help me find a job
A while ago
When I finally got it I didn't want to go
The party Mary gave for me
When I just walked away
Now there's nothing left to say
All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore
Years have passed and I keep thinking
What a fool I've been
I look back into the past and
Think of way back then
I know that I lost everything I thought I that could win
I guess I should have listened to my friends
All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore
Burning bridges lost forever.

"He used to be a B movie actor before he entered politics."
My memory is that he worked in a factory until just before he ran for Congress the first time. I think he did the single movie part after he was a Congressman. Could be wrong.

Notice the public info starts at a grand. I imagine Fox News meant all those donors (cash) under that sum.
