Court throws out baby sitter's plea

The Iowa Court of Appeals on Friday threw out a guilty plea by a Des Moines baby sitter who was charged with slamming a child to death.

Tifany Myers was sentenced to 50 years in prison for second-degree murder. In ordering a new trial, the court said errors by Polk County District Judge D.J. Stovall and Myers" lawyers denied her of her rights.

It's amazing to me that the Planned Parenthood types can still claim getting an abortion is no more traumatizing than getting a haircut.

But it sounds as if this case presented a dilemma for the liberals on the appellate court: If they let this now double-murderer off the hook, they'll have to admit her abortion wasn't the liberating experience it's cracked up to be.

The sentences given for murder in different states is mind-boggling. A recent case in Pittsburgh, where the father shook his infant too hard and the child died, got him 15 years to life.

One wasn't enough for her I guess.
