Why had they not already checked the drivers logs?

They did check the logs last year...several weeks (?) after her disappearance, to see if anyone picked her up at her apartment.

This year, they're checking to see if anyone dropped her off at Rock Creek Park, or possibly the Baskin-Robbins place nearby.

I think they checked BR last year. If they didn't the press did. Condit really did his best to stall the investigation and as I recall all of a sudden he got happy and was acting very sure of himself. Sure that he was off the hook. I was reading the timline tonight trying to remember exactly when that was.

I suggest they keep their eyes open for Ft. Marcy Park, and Starbucks as possible destinations ;-|
