CONTRIBUTIONS TO GRAY DAVIS LAUNDERED BY KANAKARIS?

SACRAMENTO - Financial documents filed just days ago reveal that the contributions made by Alex Kanakaris to Governor Gray Davis' campaign may have been laundered through his publicly traded company - which would be a direct violation of the law.

Kanakaris Only Reported Political Contributions Went to - SURPRISE! Gray Davis Kanakaris has made only three contributions to political causes according to records obtained from the California Secretary of State's office and the Federal Election Commission. All three of those contributions were to Governor Gray Davis.

After Davis received $25,000 in campaign contributions from Kanakaris, Davis agreed to attend a seminar designed to help "pump" the stock price of the Kanakaris microcap company that the SEC has accused of engaging in stock fraud and manipulation.

Davis Helps Promote Kanakaris Stock at Taxpayer Expense Just Three Days After $10,000 Check The final check from Kanakaris to Davis came just three days before the Kanakaris stock-promotion seminar, but Davis administration officials insist that the taxpayer-funded trip by the Governor had nothing to do with the campaign contributions.

They also insist the contributions had nothing to do with the promotion of the stock pumping seminar on the taxpayer-funded state of California Governor's website.

Kanakaris May Have Laundered the Money Used in the Contribution New data shows that illegal activity may also have taken place.

The latest Kanakaris Wireless (OTCBB: KKRW - trading for four pennies per share) quarterly report shows that the company expensed out $13,500 in "contributions" - a new designation to their quarterly report. This coincides with almost the exact same amount contributed to Gray Davis in the same time period by Alex Kanakaris himself - as an individual.

Campaign contributions cannot be reimbursed or funneled through other parties unless properly identified at the time the contribution is made that the individual or organization is serving as "an intermediary."

Shareholders Are the Victims of Both Kanakaris and Davis

If these funds were indeed for a reimbursement, then Mr. Kanakaris has broken the law in their process of making a political contribution to Governor Davis' campaign. Both Kanakaris and Davis have a duty to clarify this point.

And what is most sad is that it will have been done at the expense of retirement funds and savings balances for innocent shareholders who feel that Alex Kanakaris swindled them out of their money.

It seems that Gray Davis served as a willing accomplice.

Too bad Gray-Out is not a Republican. Then the press would actually get to the botoom of his corruption. They do not eat their own.

The amazing thing is how little effort was expended, how clueless the Republican party was in pushing the whole thing. They literally got broadsided in the month before the election...

It appears the local Republican central committee was taken over by RINOs and people who do little but attend cocktail parties. They seem too content with their minority status and the local government largess. The roadways are in terrible shape, the schools are awful, the traffic is a nightmare. If people in California think the power and education is a problem, just wait until the water issue crystalizes. Republicans had better prepare big time for that one...

The local political structure of the Central Coast (including Monterey and Santa Cruz counties) is run by liberals and Demroncrats. The local government entities are by far the largest employers. They think the rest of the people are just stupid Mexicans, "oppressed" blacks and white trailer trash. Somehow though, Sam Farrce and the likes of Fred Pee-wee Herman Keeley keep getting elected.

-

It tells me that there is far more support among the electorate for tax relief than the socialists here might suspect, but that our side is utterly incapable of organizing to make it happen.

In the Monterey area, the only ones who actually do anything positive is a loose coalition of dissatisfied Republicans and devoted Libertarians. Many of people with the financial means to do anything are just content with their wealth or are limousine liberals.

When your opponent is skilfully and effectively committing political suicide, it's considered poor form to lend a hand.

"Gee, thanks for the offer but I think I can handle it myself." ROTFL.

Thanks to you and the J&J team/the Robinson's, I learned more of Goron's walk on the dark side to raise funds and to be a role model for Davis.
