Why would someone think it unusual to dump garbage in a dumpster? Was there something more to the story that I'm not remembering?
As I remember it, the man who saw Condit discarding the trash recognized him and thought it odd that he was dumping trash so far from home. It was also the early evening hours of the same night that Condit's apartment was to be searched by the police.
I think this is correct.
