I think she's still running scared at what COULD still happen to her. I wouldn't go jogging if I were her, or walk down a dark street without a bodyguard. She's pretty brave in spite of the dangers.

I kept thinking about one of Clinton's women, maybe it was Paula or Juanita, I forget, but I remember her saying that she had been really afraid for her life at one point but once she was always in the public eye she felt safe because it would be so obvious if something happened to her. I suspect Miss Smith is thinking similarly. And I think there is some wisdom in it.
