Cole said Miller made a veiled threat to Funk, reminding him the state of Maryland does business with the law firm. Miller was one of five people on the Governor's Redistricting Advisory Committee, whose map mostly was followed by Gov. Parris Glendening for the 2002, 2006 and 2010 elections.

More bad news for Maryland State Senate President Mike Miller. His very public ethical lapses, and not-so-veiled threats, are piling up. This Democrat bully has disbarrment proceedings in his near future.

The reference to Louisiana was gratuitous. Maryland has even exceeded Louisiana in political corruption in recent years, particularly under Glendenning.
