WASHINGTON (AP) The U.S. military has not changed any procedures or equipment in its war in Afghanistan, Pentagon officials said, despite a review of a deadly firefight that found communications problems including one that sent a helicopter into a harrowing crossfire.

Just curious; we heard so much about the Ghurka troops that would be going to war, but I don't recall hearing anything about them in combat in Afghanistan once we started attacking. We have the best troops in the world, but our guys didn't grow up living at 30,000 feet. Because of their physiological adaptation, I was thinking there would have been more Ghurka participation in some of the highest altitude, low oxygen operations. ?
