There is so much wind that goes through the Palm Springs/Coachella Valley area. Almost every day of the year it could be extremely windy there. That is why there is so much wind farming in the area. They don't put up the windmills to make electricity just for fun, it is for profit. With so much wind, there is bound to be dust in a desert!

It sure seems like a joke. These wacko enviromentalists just don't like humans to be in any area of the world. We have dust storms quite often out here and it isn't from humans, it's from high winds going across sand dunes and dry lake beds.
