They're not winning right now, and the tide is turning against them overall. We have more states with concealed carry laws than we did 10 years ago. We have a chance to kill the 94 'assault weapons' bill by holding control of the house (better if we get the senate). NRA membership at an all time high, new groups like GOA and JPFO are growing as well. In the mean time, Handgun control is laying off staff and the MMM both shrank and was kicked out of their office space!

Plus we have the internet, the mass media that the 'intellectual elites' can't control. And it's mostly conservative / libertarian in nature. We have sites like this and many others to rally under the radar.

I'm not anywhere near giving up or feeling hopeless. I'm using my abilities to hopefully help change the minds of hoplophobes about the second amendment - pushing back the frontiers of ignorance and detroying the lies about guns and the RKBA.

This is how I'm fighting:

This is my new web site. Take a look at the anti's core issues that are debunked in just a minute or two. Know someone on the fence about guns? Send them to a movie to combat the lies. More movies taking on other subjects are on the way. Do whatever you can in your own way to furthe the fight.

Just focus on your goal, put your head down, and keep moving forward.

Good web site for people that are already on your side, but if you don't mind a critique, not good for winning over the skeptic. The BEST flashmovie of your group for convincing the unconvinced is the first one... "outdated" Without the gunshot at the end.

Seriously, shock tactics are not the way. And anti-government-tyranny arguments do not convice the fearful. This is a varsity-level gun philosophy... Not the entry level argument. They really think it sounds "outdated" and nutty to think of defending yourself against the government with guns. It just isn't going to win votes.

Revolvers in the hands of a woman home alone, with a creep crawling through her window, does win votes. Both with the woman, and her husband.

Revolvers in the hands of a woman walking to her car in a deserted parking garage, does win votes. Both with the woman, and her husband.

We have to give them ideas they can hold on to. Real people defending themselves agains real threats they have seen with their own eyes. Not imagined revolutions against imagined tyrannies. Just MHO...
