Yeah, you're right. We should screen all potential Republicans for any "entertainment industry" leanings. Any person with any entertainment value at all will not be allowed in, because, as we all know, Republicans are not entertaining. Certainly we don't need anyone putting a good face on Republicans.
We REALLY don't need the public school edjamacated children to see that thier movie idols can be Republicans and good people despite what the media and thier teachers tell them.
And I am sure that I don't have to tell anyone that Republican former actors make lousy presidents.
< MAJOR SARCASM OFF >
I'm only suggesting that actors achieve stardom and financial success on their ability (with paid professional help) to act.
The well-known liberals in Hollywood such as B.S. and R.R. (whoops, that's Robert Redford, not the other one!) don't need to fake it. They say what they really believe, as stupid as it usually is.
When you hear that some actor is "a Republican," do you break into applause? The way certain segments of society cheer when some two-bit talk-show celebrity comes out of the closet?
Meaning no disrespect to the subject of this thread, who I admit I have never heard of, is it not possible that a good part of Hollywood political pronouncements is done with a view toward boosting the person's career, as opposed to boosting the political party he's affiliated with?
