If Ted was attacked and stabbed by intruders, why is he retracting that now and his lawyers trying to get it stricken from court records? And why is there talk of his accidentally starting a fire in a wastebasket and seeming to acknowledge that he is responsible for it? It doesn't make sense. Is there that much coercion and intimidation involved, or are these not the facts and Court TV has it wrong somehow. I read his handwritten statement that they have linked from the article and while he doesn't clarify, he does acknowledge some level of responsibility - to what is he referring? I would think that Court TV is not exactly a disreputable source.
Any thoughts? I haven't yet read further down the thread so forgive me if these points were already addressed and please direct me to the appropriate posts. Thanks.
