Everybody that has ever seen a jogger/runner wearing a backpack please raise their hands.
FWIW, I've been a runner for over 10 years and have NEVER seen a jogger/runner wearing a backpack, except when training for the Pikes Peak Ascent or Marathon.

I jog, oh, maybe 20 miles a week. I always wear a backpack while jogging.

First, jogging bras are standard equipment when you hate bras and like comfort, not only joggers wear them. Two, no female jogger jogs with a backpack. Third, this guy looks good for the crime except for the backpack, maybe she was walking not jogging. Most predatory guys will "work up" to a killing. They start with acting out a crime and finally kill. So the judge was right, this was no ordinary smash and grab guy, otherwise he would be taking things. I wonder about how close these attacks were to chandra's body. I still think she met condit there, they fought, he left and she may have gone walking,,was this path connected to the Mansion? Condit may be the worlds unluckiest sleaziest dirt bag

Has the backpack been identified as hers? I still echo an earlier poster who wants to know:
If she really went jogging, why wouldn't she have left some unpacked clothes to change into before leaving on her trip?

FWIW, I've been a runner for over 10 years and have NEVER seen a jogger/runner wearing a backpack, except when training for the Pikes Peak Ascent or Marathon. I too, wondered about the backpack. My thinking is this. Some say that she wasn't much of a jogger. As suggested by someone else, the dogs track her to the corner and then nothing. She grabs a ride, maybe called for a cab earlier (though she would have needed to know how much money it would cost, since the wallet is left at the apartment), or she gets a ride from someone she knows, or someone is sent to pick her up and take her to the park.
Perhaps she was merely planning to walk the area and not jog. The backpack. Why a need for the backpack and what was in it, before and after. THAT is the question. Food for one, or two? Blackmail material? Just tossing ideas.

Jogging may be a loose description of her intention. Perhaps she had one of those fanny pack type things where she put her keys, water, and maybe even the radio at one point in her trip to the park. I would suspect that she planned on meeting someone in the park or she would not have keyed into the mansion on the internet.

My husband has been a jogger for more than 30 years, including trail running, and he has never worn a backpack while jogging.
Now, was a backpack found with Chandra's body?
