Abortion is legal...it should no longer be a political issue...for any political hack.

Folks should continue to stand in the gap and offer options to women...but for the sake of the greater good...i.e. keeping America from falling into the hands of the Democratic Socialist...the abortion issue should be deleted from the agenda.

For eons, if a woman wanted an abortion, whether it was legal or not, she got one...no one can stop a woman from killing her unwanted baby.

So what you're saying is... Slavery was legal...it should not have been an issue for political parties in the US prior to the Civil War. - - When moral issues can't be represented by parties to our government, then we'll have a completely amoral society (which we just about have, anyway).

Unfortunately, this statement cannot be lived up to.

With our gov't donating millions upon millions of tax dollars to protect abortion clinics, while placing bans on the free speach and peacful protest of pro-lifers it will continue to be a political issue - even if the Republicans remove pro-life from its platform.

The only way for abortion to cease being a political issue is for the federal gov't to stop funding and recind all laws, for and against abortion, and let it fend for itself!
