Wash Compost has to be linked. It's an article admitting through gritted teeth that Bush was right and the Democrats and European politicans were nothing but sky-is-falling chicken littles.

"We were worried a year ago that Bush's position would create a terrible confrontation," a senior German diplomat said. "Maybe we underestimated Putin's creativeness and farsightedness."

The article says the Bush dministration compiled as list of quotes, "Quotes of Criticism on ABM Withdraw and National Missile Defense," and quotes a few by Daschle, Gephart and Berger, as well as John Warner.

Anyone able to get "Quotes of Criticism on ABM Withdraw and National Missile Defense."

It should be posted here as a breaking news.

Sandy Berger's prediction of a collision course with NATO and Russia sure was prescient, eh?

Where is Sandy Berger, anyway? One would think he would be weighing in on all this 9/11 flap, wouldn't you? He has been conspicuous by his absence.

I know where Sandy Berger is. He's stomping around Asia shilling for GM-China.

He works for the ChiComs.

And he's travelling with another Clinton pro-ChiCom, Kenneth Lieberthal.

If this keeps up, Russia will eventually eclipse Europe economically and politically.

And Rice's comments are such a burn on these Chicken Littles because it is so obvious and simple.

"What keeps Russia and the United States from going to war today is not the number of nuclear weapons that they have on either side or the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty or some outdated notion of strategic stability. It's that they have nothing to go to war about."

Nice post tallhappy. Roger Hedgecock sat in for Rush earlier this week and waxed quite wonderfully on W's big score with Pootie Poot. Granted there are still major problems afoot (nuke plants for Iran, for one), that Russia is now our friend is big. W is setting up to allow Russia to prosper with petrodollars, and not the anti-American Saudis/Arabs. Time will show W's coup, IMHO....
