The natives are restless. We need to go with the Iraq thing and focus their attention on the Great White Cheif in Washington. All these brushfires can be stamped out much easier when Saddam is out of the picture. We also need to knock out Saddam so we can move on with (what I suspect will be) the next step: Undermining the Mullahs in Iran. The dissidents there will be heartened if they see a post-Saddam democracy forming in Iraq.
Pakistan, geez, I dunno. Real reform there seems like a lost cause at present. Changed conditions may present better possibilities down the line. Another reason to get on with Iraq.
