It seems to me that a person's view of the Euro depends on which country they are from. If you are from Italy, the Euro is a welcome replacement to their old, unstable currency. I am not so sure that the Germans like the switch.

Price increases (in Germany) came with the Euro. (Something the government promised wouldn't happen.)
