Nice post. Dashle better tiptoe lightly over this issue, lest someone LOUDLY tie his wife's airline industry lobbying to the $450,000 industry contribution to the Democrats, shortly before Gore's Airline Safety Commission recommendations got broomed from serious consideration.

Of course all this happened before 9/11, and I'm concerned and slightly disturbed that the Safety Commissions' recommendations, might have prevented the events of 9/11, however expensive those recommendations may have been.
