Did you notice that Dashel wasn't at the presentation today for former President and Mrs. Reagan? They said he was at a memorial at Arlington. My thoughts were he couldn't face Bush; and Bush didn't want to be in the same room with him. I didn't see Gephardt.

Gephardt couldn't be present, according to his flunkies, because he had to attend to a "flood in St.Louis"......what that short, lite-headed RAT did to help the "flood" in St. Louis is beyond me......

No I did not know Daschle was not present.

Sorry, but I think it was Lieberman. Lieberman heads a committee that is looking into 9/ll. The WH released info to him that they had regarding 9/ll. The WH just released this info and right away Dan Rather got it. Hastings is not in the senate and it is the senate that is doing the investigating.

Daschle was busy running his mouth to reporters about how utterly disappointed he was that the administration knew about 9/11 ahead of time and never told the little emporer.
He made no mention of the fact that the reports of possible hijackings of airplanes were passed on to higher level members of Congress and that includes him.
Bush can hardly wipe his rear end after a good sit down without Daschle calling a press conference to complain that he wasn't informed about it.
