Hastings resigned from the House Perm. Select Intel committee a few weeks ago. It's in the congressional record.
I discovered it while searching for information re: Condit's subpoena.
His resignation occurred the same week following the last recess. Sorry, don't have a link.

If Hastings resigned from the intelligence committee a few weeks ago, I'm not at all sure that that disproves trueblackman's theory. After all, if he only resigned a few weeks ago, he still could have leaked the information to McKinney before he resigned.
In fact, this may support trueblackman's theory. To resign from a committee in mid-term is, I believe, highly unusual, especially from a select committee like intel. Why on earth would Hastings have done that? I doubt if it would have been to get a juicier assignment, in mid-term. Might this peculiar resignation not serve to confirm that something scandalous has been going on?

If that's the best thing they have to leak, they seem to be rather out of the loop.

I did not even know Hastings resigned from The Intel Commiittee. If you can get me a date on the day he resigned I can use my other liinks to put together a timeline on this.
