Sounds like your video card. Did give any beeps when you powered it on?

No beeps. I'll try another card but I had the same problem on the previous machine, which I am replacing with this machine. It's a Cyrix333 and it suddenly stoppped working one day. So I replaced it with a new machine which I am building. Here are my two latest theories : 1) The outlet has gone bad 2)one of the risers is touching the board somewhere and causing a short.
