[history]
The Missouri Senate has tentatively called for another statewide vote on concealed weapons - but the measure would ban hidden guns in the state's largest cities and counties, including St. Louis and St. Louis County.
Gov. Bob Holden has threatened to veto a concealed weapons bill that the House passed last month. So some supporters of the bill figured their best chance to allow concealed weapons was to send the measure back to voters, who rejected the idea in 1999.

Missouri folks, this is it -- the FINAL week of the 2002 legislative session. You have only a COUPLE OF DAYS to get on the phone, call your Senator, and insist on getting a right-to-carry bill on the governor's desk. Our legislators need to be held accountable for denying good citizens their right to self-defense against violent criminals. If these people WANT to, they can pass a bill in a single DAY.

Note how article states the margin was 53-44%? In fact we only lost by 3or4% and it was due to corruption in St.L just like the election in Nov. 2K!

because of Kansas City and St Louis I feel the greater need of having a ccw if I should visit those cities. They should be included in the ccw law. The liberal anti gun factions have managed to deny urban residents inclusion in the law. The only good side is possibly with a statewide vote, the cities might vote favorably, but I doubt it. The media will do everything it can to discredit and defeat the measure.
