You make a great point once again, terilyn. It all comes down to the Senate. I, too, am glad it was not included. And for all the debating and posturing that will happen with the amnesty extension, it won't return back to the Senate in it's current form. If it does return for a vote, it will be interesting to see how it is changed.

I remember President Bush making a statement about "blanket amnesty" recently. I can't quote it here but it was something along the lines of, The American people don't want a blanket amnesty, and I have to listen to the American people.
