"Many of Israel's Jews are from Russia." Many of their non-Jews, as well. The recent immigrations have included many people who are not Jewish - neither by religious nor cultural definition - but who wish to take out Israeli citizenship. Israel allows it, believing them to be a help against the Arabs. You write: "I believe Mossad has been infiltrated by the KGB as a result." Absolutely. Why would they NOT do so? But also, it is not just the Russian security services. Palestinian, Arab and Islamic groups are also operating undercover. They have links with Russian organised crime groups in Israel. Many Palestinians buy their weapons and explosives from people whom they describe as "Israelis" - in fact, Russians.

Countries do not revoke the citizenship of their citizens for crimes committed elsewhere. You could be convicted of drug smuggling in Thailand and be thrown in jail for life, but you would remain a U.S. citizen. And you would be entitiled to renew your passport if you ever got out of jail.

Countries do not revoke the citizenship of their citizens for crimes committed elsewhere.

But Israel is unique, I believe, in granting fugitives from justice almost instant citizenship upon arrival in the country (if they are Jewish) and then refusing to extradict them. Samuel Sheinbein chopped off his Maryland neighbors head and escaped American justice by running to Israel. Solomon Morel is wanted for involvement in torturing and killing at least 1,538 persons in Poland. Israel refuses to turn him over. Nachman Dushanski is wanted for a spree of torture and killings which lasted from 1949 to 1965. He too has found sanctuary in Israel.

Those are the three most famous cases. No doubt there are more. When it comes to hiding those wanted for murder, crimes against humanity and genocide, Israel is in a class with Paraguay under General Alfredo Stroessner.

Good post, Ivan. There are so many problems with 'our good friend, Israel'!!
Thanks a lot for calling my attention to this, Larry. I didn't know anthing about this Iraq Deal...And the people who have been screaming for us to invade Iraq are all Israeli Firsters. Which is why I had to cancel my subscriptions to National Review and The Weekly Standard. I've been feeling so lost, wondering what has happened to all the people I used to admire so much. Billy Kristol and Rich Lowry, among others.
I'm proud to be an America Firster! And I will try to not let the name-calling bother me.

We know which Muslim are our enemies and we'll defeat them. It is our "friends" we need to worry about.

While the individuals you mention may have done what they are accused of, it still stands that countries generally do not revoke the citizenship of their citizens because of criminal activities. I can't think of anyone since Lucky Luciano who lost their U.S. citizenship for being a criminal. An we certainly have many, many criminals in this country, both native born and naturalized.

By the way, Israel DOES extradite criminals but the procedure is tough and tedious. It is purposely this way to protect Israeli Jews from extraditions based on political or trumped up charges issuing from antisemitic political regimes.

Israel defines antisemite the same way Jesse Jackson defines racist. Try to bring any member of either group to justice and you are an antisemite or a racist. Marc Rich and this guy are among the biggest criminals in the world. Israel is involved with both. The motivation is money, not protecting two defenseless Jews from neoNazis.

After 2 millenia of Jews being abused by justice systems and verngeful mobs, Israel sees itself as defender of accused Jews around the world.
The problem is that Israel makes little to no distinction between the accused from free countries, from anti-semetic countries, or from dictatorships. This is a horrible mistake and undermines justice.

Obviously calling other people names doesn't bother you either. The term Israel-first is pejorative. In fact, even the term America First presumes that those who disagree with you are not Americans first.

Given your cancellations, I have a new name for you, an anti-Zionist Firster.

Wish they would, as you suggest, clean it up. It sure breeds resentment. On two levels, first that they do it and second that they feel they are justified in doing it because of their history.

The term Israel First is an accurate description of those who place the welfare of Israel above all other political concerns. The last few weeks have shown just how many such there are in positions of influence in this country. Many are Jews, many are fundamentalist Christians, some like Gingrich are just bought and paid for.

You still claim to be pro-Israel Mr. Lied? (LOL) I am not surprised to see you ping the Islam-Firsters to this vanity thread. Have you made it out of the house at all lately by the way? Human contact does wonders for the soul.
