Thank you, Trib, for posting what should be painfully obvious to most folks. You are absolutely correct. If these things had taken place with a GOP controlled House and Senate, I'd be looking at Dubya funny as well. But this is not the case.
Losing the Senate was HUGE!

If the GOP had 435 seats in the house and 100 seats in the senate and a president who had been elected with an 80-20 margin, they still wouldn't have the balls or the intelligence to try and implement anything that looked like their philosophy. They are too afraid of hurting someones feelings.

Barring huge amounts of voter fraud we may have a GOP House, Senate, and White House in January 2003. That's when the #### will hit the fan if things don't change. We live in interesting times.
