Since there is apparently no Dose, are we going to hang out on this thread tonight?

I have a friend who used to live in the Bush's neighborhood & my friend has visited with her casually. Thats where I saw her walking her dog. It is when Bush Sr. was pres & she had several SS men walking the dog with her.

Laura Bush has always said that if you are at a large dinner party, right next to Barbara Bush is where you want to be! I bet she would be a riot.

That would be a hoot to be the Bush's neighbor .. she seems like the kind of person who would sit out on the front steps and have a few good laughs with all the other neighbors ..

Yeah, I saw the weather reports for that part of the country. Isn't that something? Reminds me of a Little House book I read years ago about the Longest Winter when it snowed from about October until May. It was in the 80's here with a humidity to match. We had a very nice day--went up to TN to visit my husband's mother for Mother's Day. She is a fantastic cook!!! Our grandson went with us and he LOVES her cooking. One daughter had to work today and our granddaughter was sick so the other one had to stay home with her. MamaB

LOL! I hate to say it, but you are right.
I wonder why that is? Queen Elizabeth was really a pretty young woman. Prince Phillip wasn't bad looking either.
But out of the whole group of her children only Andrew looks fairly good. I often wonder if Charles married Diana just to get some looks back into the bloodline. (Prince William is pretty good looking.)
To: Miss Marple
Yeah that only member of Brit Royal is good looking Randy Andy Rest of them OH MY GOD THey are ugly and reason why Charley marry Diana he was expect marry "Pure Brit woman" sire heir to Brit throne and lucky lady turn out be Diana but his heart was with his horse Camilla Parker Bowles

Ha! I have to et some rest. See you tomorrow night!

Actually, I can't think of a more perfect (women's) role model for "aging gracefully." Wish we'd have gotten to know her better during her White House years. Not an enemy in the world, and even liberals see to like her!
To: summer
My favorite line in the article is when Mrs. Bush is quoted as saying about her "grown-up" children, "They're done." That's precisely how I feel about mine. A good feeling!
And I agree that the whole Mother's Day bit is a big commercial rip-off.
To: ohioWfan
Thanks so much for the flag.
Did you see this one? Like mother, like son! :o)
You're absolutely right about that.
