Meet the Press sounds more like a gag-fest than a gab-fest--more like a yuck-fest than a yack-fest.
To: Alas Babylon!
The only reason to watch any of the shows is if need an emetic. Bulemics might find them useful--better than sticking your finger down your throat.

"Meet the Press" hosts King Abdullah of Jordan, Caroline Kennedy, Wall Street Journal's Al Hunt and Washington Post's Bob Woodward. Everytime the dems need serious support, they pull Caroline out of the closet & parade her across the stage......Every damned time. Jackie must be doing 360's.

"Meet the Press" hosts ..., Caroline Kennedy, I expect Timmy Potato(e) face Russert will gush giddy with gargantuan gratitude.
I wonder if these two Catholics will discuss the Democratic party's stance on abortion? Ya think?

Also, it is Caroline Kennedy
Schlossberg.
The folks at NBC must have been too busy criticizing for Israel defending itself against terrorists blowing up civilians to be able to type in her family name.

Could Stupidofolus have been any more pleased when he made the "Castro's right hand man loves Carter as much as he loathes Bush" comment? BTW, he looks like crap.

Caroline seems like a nice person and an intelligent person. Too bad she's not smart enough to see the Democrat Party for what it is and courageous enough to repudiate it.
To: Savage Beast
I'm wondering if Caroline isn't planning to run for something.
All of a sudden she seems to be everywhere.
She does look better than their reigning queen, Hillary, but I don't trust any of the Kennedys; although Jackie's influence may have improved her kids over the rest of the gang.

The times she referred to her uncle (Teddy), it made me gag ... once she said it in context with courage, and another that she was proud of his "service"? Or did I hear wrong?
(I couldn't hang around too close to the TV, and maybe I misunderstood? I mean, is she delusional?

Is anyone else's computer stalling on trying to display the graphic in post #6? Mine has tried for as long as 10 minutes without successfully completing the display. And I have a cable modem...

I saw a show on A&E once about Caroline and John Jr. Privately, Jackie had contempt for many of the Kennedy clan--but would never show it out of family loyalty.
Caroline is certainly NO Hillary. She has held herself with a quiet dignity that the Clintons could only dream of. But, she still serves the Democrats...and in my opinion that is a moral failing.
SW--sorry my graphic is messing up your machine--I can see it--anyone else?

Tony Snow about to discuss Conservatives' concern about whether Bush is "one of us".
Commercial on now ... should be interesting!

Sen. Don Nichols thinks GWB is fiscally conservative, but the Senator hates the Farm Bill and doesn't think it should become law.
Disagrees with Rumsfeld re Crusader.

It's not messing up my machine, it just stalls without loading it. I cleared out all of my temporary internet files, but it still doesn't work. Oh well, no big deal.

And the same "conservative" Don Nichols is pork-barrelling his way through a discussion of this stupid howitzer. Because it's built in his state, he thinks it's vital, otherwise North Korea will roll right over us.
Hypocrite. Lousy, big-spending, Big Government weasel. Whore.
Goddamn big-government politicians. I'll continue to support Libertarians.
To: Geezerette
Ooops, spelled "Nickles" ... Sorry!
Now discussing judges.
Solution??
Tony says Recess Appointments ... Nickles says, he hopes not. Wants hearing and vote.
