"Meet the Press" hosts King Abdullah of Jordan, Caroline Kennedy, Wall Street Journal's Al Hunt and Washington Post's Bob Woodward.
"Fox News Sunday" hosts ex-Middle East envoy Dennis Ross and Sen. Don Nickles (R-OK).
"Face the Nation" hosts Boston atty Roderick McLeish, sexual abuse victim Arthur Austin, Arafat adviser Nabil Shaath, and Sharon spokesperson Ronan Gisin.
"This Week" hosts NY AG Eliot Spitzer and others TBA.
"Late Edition" hosts Israeli Defense Min. Benjamin Ben Eliezer, Palestinian Information Min. Yasser Abed Rabbo, and Sens. Evan Bayh (D-IN) and Jon Kyl (R-AZ).
Does ANYONE on these pathetic excuses for news shows know how to develop a topic by asking questions intelligently?
TONY: do you really think Sen. Nickles is going to announce a run against Lott months before he has to? Do you really think asking him the same stupid question four different ways is going to trip him up? BRIT: we all know Juan is a putz whom you can beat up at will, and we all know that you two are guarantied to be 180 degrees apart on most issues. Tell us something we don't know for a change.
So much for the only show that is not beneath contempt. The rest are flaming frauds, claiming to be serious when they are nothing more than tabloid television. RUSSERT: how can you offer hunt woodward schlossberg and king cannon sheets with a straight face? You are a disgrace to your profession and your religion. CBS: has anyone noticed that bob schieffer is forgotten but not gone? ABC: you should try to get david brock to cohost with george stephanopolous. They would make a nice fully androgynous pair and could alternate as male and female. CNN: nice beard, wolf. Aren't you concerned about overexposure?
Seriously, I am truly afraid that we on our way to Gomorrah if this is what passes for serious discourse in our society. A pox on them all.
Touched on subject of if Nickles wanted Lott's leadership role. LOL!

Tony asks, in effect, "Are you saying our aircraft and smart bombs couldn't cope with North Korean artillery and that we need this new artillery of our own to defeat them?"
In reply, Nickels continues to blather about how we gotta keep pouring the loot into Oklahoma. For the children.
Our air-launched weapons are getting to the point where we could insert a cruise missile up Kim Suck Monkey's butt if we wanted to, and Nickels says we need new ground artillery or we're doomed.
What an embarrassing whore he was this morning. No wonder the budget is exploding again, if this is the "conservative, fiscally-responsible" regime.

These are unusually public days for Caroline Kennedy, 44. Her book Profiles in Courage for Our Time, an update of her father's Pulitzer prizewinner, came out just as one of this year's Profile in Courage Awards was given to U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan. Kennedy spoke to TIME's Andrea Sachs.
You've done four books. Is that where you see your future?
Yes, I would love to continue to do this. I don't think all that far ahead [laughs], but I do enjoy it. I grew up in a household where reading was encouraged. My mother believed in the power of words, and my father obviously did too.
All Those Books About Your Family: Do You Read Them?
I don't. There are a lot of other things that I want to learn about. I kind of know that territory. I did read some books by people who served with my father in the White House.
Are You a Harry Potter fan?
Yes, I love those books.
Why do you use the name kennedy on your books, rather than Kennedy schlossberg, your married name?
I never actually changed my name. But people call me whatever they call me.
Will you write a memoir?
You know, I can't ever imagine doing that. I feel there are a lot of ways to learn about people. The poetry book, I felt, really did reveal a lot about my mother. It was a nice thing for me to be able to share with people. It's not always necessary to have a memoir.
Do you feel an increased interest these days in sustaining your family's legacy?
I guess I don't really think it's increased. It's something that I feel a responsibility for. I also feel that my parents' legacy can stand on its own, without my help. But it's something I believe in and am happy to help participate in.
What do you think would be a fitting memorial to your brother?
His spirit lives on in people he knew and even people he didn't know. And I think that's really the best kind of memorial.
Would you ever write a book about your brother?
I don't think so. I'm not going to do that right now.
You have enormous fame but strive for privacy. is that hard to handle?
It's been part of my life, and the reasons for it are something I'm immensely proud of--my parents' work and the work of my uncles. In that way, it's a very nice tribute to them. I know that's the source of it. It's not something I think about as much as you might think I do.
Would you ever run for office?
I don't have any plans to do that right now. As I said, I don't plan ahead. My kids are young, and I'm really happy to be able to be around. But I do care about issues, and I'm interested in them. So I don't see that now, but you know, I have a long life ahead of me.

I'm no admirer of the Kennedys, but I do think Jackie was a good mother and that her two children turned out well. (That does not mean that any adulation is in order.)
Russert's show was the worst to date (except for the softball, pre-asked questions to Queen Hillary!).
There's a lot going on in the world and our nation. Couldn't at least some of that be discussed? I for one would have liked questions about the "left-wing mailbox pipe bomb" terrorist. You've gotta believe that if he had been a right-wing fanatic at least one of these shows would have had a roundtable on it! It's not news if we don't discuss it seems to be the motto of ABC/CBS/NBC. Hopefully they're on their way to the ash-heap of television history...
She sure doesn't like guns at all! LOL!
I'm glad these Libshows are over for another week. I don't have the stomach to watch Deface the Nation ... too much for one morning!
I really miss Michael Savage on the weekends.
