Yep. The immediate presumption, accusation, (and conclusion, it seems) is that a the man is a fiend.

It reminds me a bit of the child molestation hysteria of the mid-80s.

Except Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers, etc. When it is against a pro-baby murdering Democrat, they have to "hear all the facts of the case" before doing nothing.

Of course, the literal truth in this case is not important. It does not matter if this man did not do to her what she claims, as long as we know that it is true that some men somewhere have done these things to women. If he goes to prison for crimes that he did not commit, that is okay because many men have been let off scot- free throughout history for crimes against women.

This is precisely the defense that intellectual elites put forth for the Rigoberto Menchu hoax.
