Here is a phot shop a friend of mine sent me "illustrating" Larry King's dethroning from the ratings...kind of a metaphor for CNN as well. (as if I had to explain that)

Larry King is out flacking his show....he showed up last night on Conan O'Brien's late late show, trying to appear cool.
I have a pretty good idea where King's future lies; I wonder about Conan O'Brien. If he calms down that Irish "wit" of his, he might have a great future as prime time host or interviewer. He's a really bright guy trying to come off as stupidly hip.

I am a fan of Conan O'Brien I watch him frequently. Since he got married, he seems to be taking things a bit more seriously. I'd like to see him develop a more important career.....there's always a place for comedy, but the guy is so very bright, he might be able to make it as a Larry King . There's going to be an opening soon.
The up and coming news jerks like Chris Bury, John Donvan, and the blatant faggelah on 60 minutes who did such a miserable rude interview with Bush during the campaign all seem shallow and bland. O'Brien might have the smarts to become an interesting news guy, not a PC clone. I do wish him well, whatever..
