Among my many achievements, I'm the author of what now has officially been dubbed "the Limbaugh Doctrine." This doctrine - that you get peace through victory, not negotiations, clean water and pieces of paper - was too hot to handle when I first wrote it as an essay.
Yet in the months since I published my thoughts on Pearl Harbor Day 2001, pundits and politicians have admitted what I so wisely articulated. We have linked to many of these articles and sound bites at the bottom of this page. On Tuesday night, the Limbaugh Doctrine was invoked by no less than Ariel Sharon - this prior to his leaving the United States for Israel after the latest in a very predictable series of homicide bombings.
Read the rest of Rush's article here.

He ain't done, yet... I hope not, but that remains to be seen. With the signing of CFR, The Education Bill, his fight for Amnesty for illegals, the complete collapse of his moral clarity regarding terrorism and his expected signing of the Farm Bill I have very little confidence left in Mr. Bush's ability to anything other than the politically expedient.

It's about as free and democratic as Botha's South Africa - a close ally of Israel, as I recall.
The way some conservatives-in-name-only consistently swoon for these herrenvolk "democracies" is quite amusing.

There will be peace in the ME when Israel fights a full-scale war against her enemies and completely and totally destroys them. When every terrorist is dead, then there will be peace. When was the last time we had any trouble from Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan? Same principal. Rush is right. The Bush Doctrine was a great policy also, unfortunately it was all BS, as soon as the Saudi's who pay for the homicide-bombers, complained about it, W trashed it.

Gotta love how so many so called "conservatives" now treat Israel as it is part of the USA... thankfully, you are not the final arbiter of who is a conservative, and who is not.
now, go to your room.

The temporary and tiny tax cut doesn't count...it expires in 10 years and amounts to next to nothing anyway.
It'll amount to next to nothing sooner than that, I fear. And how about that $300 or $600 rebate, eh? Those new steel and soft lumber tariffs are taking care of that, since that's about what you'll be paying more now for whatever you buy that includes those products.
The Republican Party: Talking the talk but not walking the walk. Oh, I almost forgot - can't have principled actions and legislation when we have to win them elections in November, right? (And God forbid we should be talking about repealing rather than making law...)

If you are a limbaugh sycophant and believe Israel is the 51st state, for the sake of accuracy you should modify your screen name by dropping the "us" and substituting "neo".

If the only choices offered to Israel by the Palestinians and neighboring Arab nations are slow death carried out through a combination of endless negotiation and terror, or total war with the PA and any neighboring nations that choose to become militarily involved, Israel will eventually have to take the second option if it wishes to survive. If the right of return remains a sticking point for the Palestinians, for instance, what choice could there be besides war? Negotiation is fine and dandy, but it must involve give and take, something neither side is particularly interested in at this point.

True; however they aren't babbling insane nonsense about a "Greater South Africa." Haven't heard any nutcase stuff about "Red Heiffers" either.

If you are a limbaugh sycophant and believe Israel is the 51st state, for the sake of accuracy you should modify your screen name by dropping the "us" and substituting "neo". And if you're a Palestinian terrorist supporter who believes that it's acceptable to kill innocent Israeli's in order to achieve statehood through the U.N. sanctioned method of stealing land from the Israelis, please remove yourself from the human gene pool.
I am an unabashed, proud supporter of Israel, and her right to exist. Israel is the only Democracy in the Middle East. Israel is on the front lines of the war on terrorism, and has been since her inception.
Israel occupies less than 1% of the total land mass of the Arab world. Why is it that the Palestinians and those that support its terrorist regine INSIST on creating a Palestinian homeland by taking land away from a people who occupy less than 1% of the total land mass of the region?
Don't bother, I know your answer. Thank God above you are not the final arbiter of who is a Conservative and who is not. I shall strive to never meet YOUR narrow definition!
