"We're talking about a 17-year-old being subjected to obvious felony offenses."

WAAAAAA!!!!! I bet this teen punk got into an arguement with dad, and he turned dad in to get even. Now his two siblings are involved, and will be in the system long after he turns eighteen and is on his own. I hope your dad disowns you, you little bastard.

I'm sure he's going to be real popular at school for the next few weeks. Everyone loves a NARC.

Heaven forbid he go live with mom or ask his dad to stop. I wonder if he was using/selling some of Dad's stash.

Must have been the chronic to smell two or three houses away. One less Democratic voter.

The dad could be a jerk, but that possibility is mitigated by the fact that he has had custody of three kids. So I suspect you're right. This kid has just stepped on his own crank and messed up his siblings big time. Legalize drugs (at the very least completely innocuous ones like marijuana) and all such stupid stories go away.

Before you jump all over this kid consider this.

1.) His dad was not growing for his own use. He was dealing.

2.)Dealing can bring some very unpleasent people into the family circle.

3.) He was bound to get caught. Picture this, a "No-knock raid," with maybe the seven year old or the fifteen year old getting shot.

Interesting all the dope-smokers on this thread condemning the children for the idiocy of the father. Any parent who grows and uses dope with kids in the house deserves a long, long prison term.

Well, I'm glad I don't have to work with any of you. I'd hate to have to rely on my personal safety from individuals who feel so cavelier about breaking the law. What if his Dad had been humping his 15 year old sister? Would you want the kid to ask his father to stop doing it instead of going to the cops? I suppose you think that Linda Tripp was a traitor too, or that any individual who reports illegal behavior is scum. It doesn't matter that you disagree with the law, it's still the law. Double standards suck folks.

Waht you said about the 'no-knock' raid is true. But that's still no reason to narc on your Dad. This little clown just ruined any resemblence of a fair childhood for his siblings. I hope they grow up and kick his ass when they get old enough!

Dymerski said, "but the bottom line is, he did the right thing."

Good job kid, the hard decisions usually hurt. Any 'dad' that would subject his 3 kids to a home life like that isn't much of a dad. One can only imagine the kind people that showed up when 'dad' wasn't around.

What a crock!

PS: I don't use drugs. I don't have any more reason than you do to think that anybody else who has commented uses them. I do know that marijuana is innocuous and that the drug war is insane.

What a stupid argument. To equate pot growing to incest is not a valid comparison.

How about a comparison to illegally installing an old high flow toilet. That's more like it.

Any parent who keeps and consumes alcohol in a house with children deserves a long prison term.

First of all, weed cultivation and child molestation are two totally different subjects. Apparently the guy was a good father, because he had custody of all three kids. Second, I agree w/ Lance Romance. He could have asked Dad to stop or he could have gone live with mom. Hell, all he had to do was wait a while longer and he could have left the situation entirely.

Like I said before, I bet this little narc got into a 'dominant male' arguement w/ dad, and dad won. So the little punk decided to 'get even'.

Would you have turned in your dad if he was doing something illegal while you were growing up? The thought wouldn't even enter my mind.

You think so? I would be more inclined to kick the butt of a so-called dad that put his kid in that position.

When you have kids you have a responsibility. You can't act like you are single. I would feel the same way if the jerk had been taking his kids out in the car while drunk. Maybe nothing bad had happened yet. But at some point it was bound to do so.

We don't know what will happen to these kids but as soon as the genetic contributor (male) started dealing illegal drugs there could be no happy ending unless he stopped on his own. He didn't. Dealing was more important to him then his kids.

Fair childhood? With a useless bakehead dope dealing dad? Stop drinking the bong water and get real.

installing an old high flow toilet

I trust you have not committed that felony along with other crimes of which you are about to be accused. I already have you down as having made comments on a thread regarding marijuana use and distribution and including not so subtle hints re incest.
