(A) I asked my liberal co worker. What about Web Hubbel? Says he, Hubbel wasn't a Clinton official. Hmmm, wasn't he Assistant Secretary of DoJ.
(B) I ask my conservative co worker. He says, Clinton officials don't get indicted, they get killed, e.g. Ron Brown.
(Not sure if the header on this will show up correctly, I've removed it from my "HTML body of thread" but some strange Free Republic banner keeps trying to show up.)

Notice the difference in the wording: the Reagan "era" and the Clinton "administration". It serves its purpose in promulgating the lie that 31 Reagan officials were indicted or convicted for crimes committed while the Clinton adminstration was pure as the driven snow. Note however that the only name mentioned is that of Lyn Nofziger. What they failed to point out is that Nofziger was not a member of the Reagan administration when he committed the crime for which he was convicted. Not unlike the vast majority, if not all, of those 31 who are alleged to have been indicted or convicted for felonies or misdemeanors during the Reagan "era". Ask the Reagan-haters to provide a list of names and see what kind of response you get. As far as Clinton numbers go, I can think of a few more in addition to Webb Hubbell; Mike Espy, Bruce Babbitt, and Henry Cisneros, all of who were indicted.

You are right about Web Hubbell & your lib friend is wrong. It appears the writer picked/chose those things that favor his side of the argument. Try this site
Clinton Scandal
You can't get convictions if the primary players flee the country.
