Very important...is the ban for corn or flour tortillas? If it is corn, then white or yellow?

Actually, it could be a lot worse:

The Detroit Red Wings' most eagerly anticipated tradition is throwing of an octopus on the ice during the playoffs. The bizarre fan ritual began back when only four NHL teams made the playoffs, and the eight legs symbolized the eight wins needed to win the Stanley Cup. Attendants are booed if they use a shovel to remove the octopus and cheered if they use their bare hands.

using food bank boxes to play on their guilt.

More of the ol mental conditioning so commonly used on the students. The Tortillias are creating starvation throughout the world.
Waisting food? Hey, how about the wasted tax dollars by the school? Hello? A little hypocritical, aren't they? How many people would those tax dollars feed? Huh?

I'm surprised PETA hasn't shut that one down in Detroit already, but the fans would probably keep the protesters from ever returning..

This is more about liberal educators and their cultural agenda than helping the needy.

The educators are 'appalled' by the culturally insensitive behaviour and are cloaking this under the guise of feed the needy to implement a social agenda.

"tradition is throwing of an octopus on the ice"

When the Stars moved to Dallas years ago, the tradition of the octopus followed with the new Dallas fans. PETA and the Humane Society got upset and demanded a stop to this. They said that it was cruel to the octopus. These two stupid groups thought that you could go to a pet store and buy these creatures. They did not know that they were already dead and came from a seafood market.

Does this mean that throwing rice at a wedding is insensitive to the Chinese?

And, man, if throwing tortillas is insensitive, just imagine what hatemongering it must be to eat them...

What next, shall we change the nickname of Notre Dame?

The 'Fighting Irish' sounds awfully culturally insenstive to me!
