I haven't been able to listen much. It seems like there have been a lot of ads so far--good for the show, not much fun for listening. He's talking about Israel/Palestine now...

Sounds like the audio track from a typical cable talking-heads show right now. That's not necessarily bad--O'Reilly has the presentations skills to succeed in the radio market, I think.

O'Reilly is an obnoxious RINO when he's on Fox News. I have better things to do than waste my time listening to his big government, self effacing, whiny drivel on the radio.

So, I'm guessing you don't have any insight to offer as to how the new show is going? :)

He caused a popular local talk show host to lose her job so the station could air him. I'm not a pure O'Reilly fan. Sometimes I can tolerate him but most often I can't stand to watch his big mouth compete with his big head....refereed by his even bigger ego. I'm probably not going to be a radio fan either.

Could you be referring to Lynn Cullen In Pittsburgh. Will she not obtain another time slot? Not that I like this liberal windbag.

No. This was just a small time, local, ex-politician here in El Paso. People just like her.

It's called competition.

It's a little early to pass judgment but I thought the show went pretty well today. My only concern is that so many local talk show hosts are now either out of work or being moved to graveyard shifts to make room. We are now one step closer to 100% syndicated national radio on the airwaves and it is sad to see that happen (no more local hosts). Of course, here in Boston, the local hosts pushed aside were liberals, so no big loss to me, though I'm sure across the country, it is a different story.

I guess maybe that Elder kid from MN with the pipe bombs is more in tune with you?

Ouch! Was that really necessary?

Oh. Is it over already? It's still airing here. I guess we're on tape-delay.

I don't care for rinoreilly either. However, in Los Angeles, he replaced the ever hateful and hypocritical attorney - Gloria Allred. Hopefully they didn't move her to my evening commute timeslot. I've got a choice of Larry Elder or John&Ken.

E.D. Donahey, O'Reilly's radio co-host.

Lynn Cullen in now on 10am - 1pm. She was not happy, neither was her audience. Jerry Bowyer is now on 7am - 10am. Good move for Jerry.
