Ramallah May 8th 2002 Wafa; A Palestinian Leadership spokesman stated:
The Palestinian Leadership strongly condemns the violent operation in Rishon Letsiyon that targeted civilians; saying that the timing of such an operation only serves the Israeli Prime Minister who is hosted by the USA administration where this operation supports his allegations of the impossibility of making peace with the Palestinians, and staining our nation with terrorism, acquitting him and his Government from the massacres and the atrocities they have committed against our people, especially while our blood is still shed in our camps, villages and cities.
The Palestinian Leadership, facing the dangerous challenges against our people who have the most sacred and just cause in the current era, is obliged to take severe measures against every one is involved in this act and will try them and severely punish those who are tampering with our cause endangering our fate, especially after the Leadership clearly declared refusal and condemnation against such actions, that provide the Israeli criminal Prime Minister to commit further massacres against our defenseless citizens.
The Palestinian Leadership strongly refuses and condemns such actions and considers the groups that carry out such actions, as working against the interests of the Palestinians, and will take every possible measure to put an end to these severe breaches.
The Palestinian suicide bombers actions are referred to as "violent operations", yet the Israeli's defense of their country is called a "massacre" of Palestinians.
Talk about your double standard.
But I notice there are no names attached to this statement from the Palestinian leadership. Hmmmmmm

It's long long long past the time the PLO should've condemned the mass murderers. In fact, they had their chance & they blew it--and started the intafada.
Chickens are coming home to roost.
The brave leadership sends children out to do their dirty work while they continue to hide in their slimey sewers like the cowards that they really are.
