Nah. Just being funny. But I do tend to agree with the comments in the Yale Manual of Style. Too much markup just interferes with readability and consistency in formatting.
The SAME thing APPLIES with random use and OVERUSE of OTHER HTML TAGS and UPPER AND LOWER CASE and such.
