Its all a joke, he didnt come up with that name for himself...its sarcasm. I dont agree with everything about Ozzy either..but the show is funny, and Ozzy still makes great music. We can watch the show without emulating him, we dont emulate anything we watch, although I do get a hankerin' for a good pigeon burger on Tuesday nites after the show, cant quite explain it.

The next morning more than one newspaper article refered to Osbourn as overshaddowing the President by his attendence.

Something Xlinton would have been outraged over but not GW. GW is totally comfortable with his identity and is not threatened by such pettiness.

by the way do you think that is Pat doing the opening song on the show?....

:o( Oh, how I wish I knew!!! I don't have cable, so I've been totally out of the loop with this new show. I only hear people talk about it. I've been hoping that they put the series out on video soon. Now I guess there are two good reasons to get cable again: The Osbornes and Southpark! ;o)

I dont watch much network television at all anymore, dont watch a whole lot of cable, but the shows I do like just happen to be on the cable channels, and Southpark is one of them. I think the only network shows I watch anymore, if I happen to be in front of the TV when they are on, is Fear Factor and Whose line is it anyway?

Growing up, Iron Man was one of the first guitar songs I learned - I do like Oz' music, but not the show.

MTV used to be good, like Delbert said, but it's really turned to the gay agenda, exploiting sex, and lots of other trash. Well shootfire! they don't even play videos anymore!

I think Ozzy Osbourne is Benjamin Franklin reincarnated.

It amazes me how people keep trying to cover for Bush's or his handler's idiotic mistake. Another huge mistake was having that idiot Drew Carey up there making fun of Bush's speaking imperfections. Bush is really destroying his presidency with all of his stupid mistakes. I always remember when he said that Jesus Christ was his idol. like Clinton waving his bible in the air like he was some kind of God fearing Christian, now I belive Bush really did not mean it when he said that Jesus was his idol. Bush is allowing the Federal government to grow exponentially. We are sunk as a Nation, I am afraid.

I just heard that Bush is putting Clinton in a group to go to East Timor as a sign of peace. We are finished as a nation, my friends. Kiss it goodbye.

Bootylicious...damn if they didnt do it again...took out the ROCK and changed the format to rap,pop and hip hop....They did it to me again...I cant believe it.

Lyyne may still be living in the '80's.
The "religious right" demonized Ozzy during the '80's.
I like Ozzy, but Lynne is right he certainly is not a role model for our children.

What? You haven't gotten into Buffy the Vampire Slayer?!! If I had kids I probably wouldn't let them watch Buffy for all the occult stuff, but it is one of the best written tv shows out there. I agree about network tv in general though. I remember when I was a kid there were only a few significant shows for kids and adults: stuff like A Team, The Increadible Hulk, Charlie's Angels, Little House on the Prairie, Grizzly Adams, BJ and the Bear, Battlestar Galactica, etc. They were all so simple and campy. Now there are so many shows, and the ones that are targeted for young people (including Buffy) have sexual and violent content that would have caused parents to riot 15 years ago. I'd hate to be a teenager these days.

You should check out Fox' "Greg the Bunny". Yes, the lead is a puppet, but the show is the most spot on parody of the PC sensibility I have seen to date. (For example, the puppets insist upon being called "fabricated Americans")

How is that MTV continually pushes rock music aside for Rap and Hip Hop?, how can they think that the demographic that rap and hip hop music caters to has more value than a rock demographic? Makes no sense at all. MTV X is now MTV JAMS all the drugs ,violence and booty swingin action you can handle.
