The small marker at the side of the road appeared so innocent that he had not noticed it before.

But for some reason he cannot remember, Hans Dunshee took a closer look - and was outraged.

So began a campaign which would inflame passions and loyalties dating back 140 years.

The monument is a stone marker in Peace Arch Park, in Washington state on the US-Canadian border.

It announces that the road leading south was named the Jefferson Davis Highway, commemorating the first and only President of the Confederacy, the short-lived government of the breakaway Southern states in the 1860s...

"... But for some reason he cannot remember, Hans Dunshee took a closer look - and was outraged."

What a crock of lies. This bitching, whining, and flailing of dead brain cells by the liberal national- socialists has been going on for a couple of years.

Over the same nonsense.

And it just... BANG!... hits him now?

Gee, Mr. Dunshee... from which year in history would you choose to begin the consummate destruction of all things that may, in any form, be from the Confederacy, or "Southern" ?

Maybe way back down in the shallow recesses of your pitiful mind you are really thinking about the internment of all the descendants of these Southerners to boot.

What else would you obliterate from the face of the earth?

Maybe not only the internment, but the death of all these descendants would make it even better.

Jesus H. Christ! You, Dunshee and your ilk are marching towards the likes of the Nazis with every damn breath you take.

You mindless toads who want to "remedy" the history this country are a malignant cancer that is destroying this country.

TO HELL WITH YOU, FOOL!

Jefferson Davis ignored the confederate constitution, jailed thousands without trial, virtually nationalized whole sections of the southern economy, and threw away any chance the south had for independence. I don't see where his memory should be honored.
