Not at all. In fact, I don't think they have a national newspaper. It's about as wide open there as it is in the US.
This particular paper routinely is on the lunatic fringe of reporting and is the least reliable of the six or so papers I've read.
Dawn is probably the most mainstream, but you see anti-government or anti-Musharraf stuff printed there pretty frequently, too.
Ahhhh ok. So unless the gov't is doing some arm twisting that sort of blows my theory out of the water. They can come up with whatever excuse they want because we are coming hard and heavy if they do have some of our boys then you know those guys going in there are going to have a rather large bone to pick with the tribal folk out there.
