Hi everyone. I'm looking for help defeating Tammy Baldwin this fall in the 2nd District Congressional race. While I am supporting Ron Greer, this project is not endorsed or supported by him.
I have registered the domain TammyBaldwin.US and am building a web site to provide a counter-point to her campaign. If you know of anything about this socialist-Democrat that should be posted, please let me know.
Cheers!
Norris
Here's who gave her money for her 2000 campaign Click Here- mostly unions
And here's what she spent it on. Click Here.
She didn't exactly trounce her opponent- she got 51% of the vote.
Here's her Congressional Website: http://tammybaldwin.house.gov/--- Interestingly, she conveniantly doesn't mention the fact that she's a member of the Progressive Caucus- a Socialist group sponsored by the Democratic Socialists of America. (this is from the Dem Socialist website)
For whatever reason, Baldwin isn't listed there, she's listed here: http://bernie.house.gov/pc/members.asp Bernie Sanders' Congressional Website.
At any rate, she is a bona fide socialist and I find it hard to believe that that fact alone isn't all anyone would need to ensure her defeat at the polls. Please do all you can to get this woman out of Washington. I looked over all the Progressive Caucus members and she appeared to be the weakest one- judging by the last election. If we can get even one of them run out of DC that's a definite plus for the USA.
If any of the links don't work- let me know.
A homeless man, obviously mentally ill, showed up, and wanted to march with the pro-Bush group. Several of us spoke with him. He told us that he had attended a big barbeque at Tammy Baldwin's home. The day began with all of the homeless attendees being taken by bus to vote absentee, after which they were rewarded with a meal at Tammy's lesbian love nest on the lake.
The cost of a meal would clearly be over the limit inmposed by state and federal election law, making this another case of "smokes for votes."
I don't know how you can corroborate this story, outside of interviewing homeless people in Madison, but it might be owrth following up on. It sort of fell through the cracks, with all the post-election controversy in Milwaukee.
