LYNN CHENEY: EMBARRASSMENT OVER OZZY FUSS AT WHITE HOUSE DINNER
**Exclusive**
VP wife Lynn Cheney told associates she was "embarrassed" by the commotion surrounding thrash rocker/MTV star Ozzy Osbourne's appearance at this weekend White House Correspondence Dinner in Washington.
"He's hardly someone we should be applauding... not a role model, I am rather embarrassed," Cheney said after the dinner, according to sources.
Osbourne's presence at the Washington Hilton on Saturday night cause a complete sensation. The rocker's Tuesday show on MTV has become one of the most-watched shows on the air among teens.
Cheney has been an outspoken critic of rock and rap lyrics marketed to youth.
Last year Cheney took on rapper Eminem, calling his music "the most extreme example of rock lyrics used to demean women, rock lyrics used to advocate violence against women."
"The thing about Ozzy is, he's made a lot of big hit recordings: "Party With the Animals," "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," "Face in Hell," "Black Skies'' and "Bloodbath in Paradise,'' President Bush joked in his speech before the association.
Osbourne lyrics include from "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath": "God knows as your dog knows; blast all of you. Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath, nothing more to do. Living just for dying, dying just for you."
In the 1983 song, Bark at the Moon, Osbourne recited : "Howling in shadows Living in a lunar spell He finds his heaven Spewing from the mouth of hell."

If you think Ozzy raised a ruckus, wait until next year, when the musical guest of honor is Weird Al Yankovich.

Do you know how to construct English sentences?
To: Hellmouth
Good Ole Lynn!
At least somebody in this Administration can tell it like it is - even though she isn't technically in this Administration, which may be the reason she can "tell it like it is"!

"He wasn't invited to the WH. Feel better now?" Maybe....maybe not
Ozzy Osbourne 'invited to White House'
Wildman rocker Ozzy Osbourne has been invited to dinner at the White House by US president George W Bush, according to reports.
It follows the hugely successful launch of a new reality TV show following the UK singer and his family.
The Osbournes has become music channel MTV's biggest ever hit in the US, with more than three million viewers and President Bush is said to be a huge fan.
Osbourne said he was stunned to be invited, according to the Express newspaper.
He said: "I thought I'd be on a wanted poster on the wall, not invited to his place to tea."

The dinner wasn't at the White House. Neither the President nor the VP were the hosts of the dinner. There were at least a couple thousand people there. I don't understand why people are acting as if W and Ozzie are best friends now. It didn't happen that way.

I guess she wouldn't approve of his biting off bats heads on stage either.

So, Lynn has an opinion on this obviously embarrassing moment at the dinner. I suspect most there thought he was making a spectacle of himself too.
To: Tabitha Soren
I think it's a lot more instructive than any anti-drug PSA.
To: Hazzardgate
shhhhhh, let them rant and rave awhile
To: Tabitha Soren
I'm glad we have someone in government telling it like it is. The fact of the matter is that Ozzy Osbourne glorifies WORSHIPPING SATAN, COMMITTING SUICIDE, and USING DRUGS. He should NOT be invited to the White House. There is NOTHING funny about this man. BINGO! This guy is a 100% scumbag! Why any conservative would like him is beyond me.
