LYNN CHENEY: EMBARRASSMENT OVER OZZY FUSS AT WHITE HOUSE DINNER

VP wife Lynn Cheney told associates she was "embarrassed" by the commotion surrounding thrash rocker/MTV star Ozzy Osbourne's appearance at this weekend White House Correspondence Dinner in Washington.
"He's hardly someone we should be applauding... not a role model, I am rather embarrassed," Cheney said after the dinner, according to sources.
Osbourne's presence at the Washington Hilton on Saturday night cause a complete sensation. The rocker's Tuesday show on MTV has become one of the most-watched shows on the air among teens.
Cheney has been an outspoken critic of rock and rap lyrics marketed to youth.
Last year Cheney took on rapper Eminem, calling his music "the most extreme example of rock lyrics used to demean women, rock lyrics used to advocate violence against women."
"The thing about Ozzy is, he's made a lot of big hit recordings: "Party With the Animals," "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," "Face in Hell," "Black Skies'' and "Bloodbath in Paradise,'' President Bush joked in his speech before the association.
Osbourne lyrics include from "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath": "God knows as your dog knows; blast all of you. Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath, nothing more to do. Living just for dying, dying just for you."
In the 1983 song, Bark at the Moon, Osbourne recited : "Howling in shadows Living in a lunar spell He finds his heaven Spewing from the mouth of hell."

Bush got all sorts of good PR from each of the two WHite House Correspondence Dinners he has attended. Both humanized him and made him an even more appealing person. Contrary to your Godless Anti-American fag media rant, the media showed a number of clips from the dinner during their news coverage today and it wasnt just Ozzy. I bet for all your rant, you never even watched the dinner, did you? Why let a little thing like facts intrude on your reality.
For your information, while there were a few Hollywood people attending the dinner as quests, Hollywood has no role in this dinner. It's put on by the White House Correspondents Association. A group of reporters and their employers.

I have to agree. I never thought there would be a better anti drug poster boy than keith Richards of the Rolling Stones but having watched Ozzy once or twice on his new show, I cant imagine many kids that want to use him as a role model. He is a total burnout but he treats his kids better than a lot of parents I know.

If you listen to Ozzie without looking at him he sounds like a doddering old Englishman from a small village. Pretty scarey since he isn't that old. On the other hand, he obviously loves his family, and his wife is a very patient person, I think.

I just wish there wasn't so mucuh swearing on the show, I would be more comfortable watching it. But I will watch it again...I am curious to see what happens with their children.
At one point, Ozzy said he was a news buff and watched FOX news. Said he loved The Factor. Greta asked what about her show and Ozzy stumbled a bit and said he saw it but thought he was on CNN. LOL
