Doris Kearns Goodwin, being rehabilitated on Imus, said that Bush was probably right for wartime, because he could go directly from A to B; while Clinton saw all sides of an issue, implying his much greater intelligence (gag). DKG still hasn't realized that the current George W plays chess, not checkers!

I love this approach! And I plan to use it!

Bush's coattails will be there because voters may actually factor the candidates' characters into their voting decision.

You're so right. A fence-sitter sees both sides, but that doesn't make him more intelligent than the guy who's on solid ground.
