The only place I've seen a speeding truck pulled over, is after a big-rig accident-- and on the news, and on the news, again, when they say the CHP COMMI ordered a crack-down on speeding trucks. The CHP COMMI ordered a crack-down about three times this year.

When I have brought up my friend's question re if anyone has seen a CHP pulling over a speeding trucker since Davis has become Benito II with the exception of what you mentioned re the publicized actions, everyone has a blank look. They can't remember seeing it happen. They can remember being tailgated at 70 and 75 and passed at those speeds by big riggers.

Apparently about 2 years ago on I5 between Woodland and the Sac Airport, the truckers got so dangerous, that they were cracked down on and hard. My mother in law came out to visit. I picked her up and we were tailgated or passed at 70 and 75 mph on that route on the way home. I had two truckers honking their horns while tailgating me at 70-75 in the right lane. I took her back about 3 weeks later and every trucker was doing 55. Apparently the CHP really hammered them in that zone. One probably tailgated Benito II, and his trucking firm hadn't donated to Davis's re election fund.
