My conservative dream would be that unborn babies, from conception to birth, would not be offered up on the altar of abortion.

(AP) WASHINGTON D.C.-- In an earth shattering move unparalleled since the Brown v. Board of Education case, the US Supreme Court voted 9-0 today to overturn its 1973 ruling that legalized abortion.

Handing down the unanimous decision was Justice Franz, with Justices Chenoweth, Kennedy, Starr, Thomas (IL), Scalia, Chavez, and Chief Justice Thomas (GA) signing on. In a separate concurrence, Justice Breyer, the lone Democrat remaining on the court, wrote "Back in the Clinton era, I opposed this sort of thing, but now I realized I was brainwashed by liberals. Children do have a right to life."

The Franz ruling stated that there was "strong and compelling evidence that life begins at conception", thereby invalidating the 1973 ruling due to the US constitution's clause giving the "inalienable right to life". The Franz ruling struck down all previous court decisions that allowed abortions, instead urging "all state and local governments to pass whatever legislation may be deemed appropriate in the interest of protecting the unborn child from premature extermination"

The reaction among pro-choice groups was one of total shock, with one liberal feminist Democrat group, "Americans for Abortion on Demand" calling the ruling "an evil assault on the right to slaughter fetus' ", demanding states ignore the decision due to "Justice Breyer writing his verdict under the influence of senility".

However, most legal experts believe those opposing the decision will be going about it in vane. Within hours of the verdict, 28 states had already begun passing laws to change the abortion free-for-all status that they had been forced to adapt since the 1973 Roe ruling.
