I'm all for rooting bad cops out regardless of race and I don't think hiring standards should be lowered because of race. Make everyone meet the same reasonable standards. It's really that simple.

I can't remember a time when Philly wasn't a mess! Rizzo to Street isn't the nam eof a double-play combination.

In Philadelphia, New York, and some other cities, whites and blacks are hired based on different standards (which isn't going to change anytime soon), and comprise what are essentially different, overlapping, and often mutually incompatible police forces.
